Reflections for 2016

2016 has been a sad year, to say the least.
Lost so many people, especially in the music scene. Not just international celebrities but RIP to Mady and AJ, both whom I've watched numerous times in the past years. May they be happy and spreading their joy wherever they may be.

Things at work have been pretty positive. As a lookback, I think I have tried to "man up" and face challenges. That would have been my mantra at work this year. To take everything as it comes. Not pass up opportunities. I hope all these initial discomfort will turn into something great in my years in my career. God has something good planned I'm sure!

Family wise... Much to reflect on. And definitely something I've gotta work on as well. I pray everyday for more patience and kindness towards the very people who gave me my life. I've been told I tend to victimize myself which was quite a slap in the face. It's not easy to admit your faults. I hope in the new year, we find more love and more time for each other. And we work towards building a more "quality" relationship with each other.

With my friends, we've pretty much always remained a constant. That I'm always thankful that I know who to find and where to find them when I truly need them. I pray for generosity and open hearts with these buddies.

Last but not least, I thank Him everyday for bringing Kev into my life. For changing my ways through Kev in so many ways. For bringing me laughter and dependency. For all the love we share and all the ways we still are willing to learn and bend for each other.

2016 was shit. But there's still so much to be thankful for so I'm still mighty appreciative of all these great things and people around me. With the impending wedding coming as well... I pray all goes smooth and that I try to enjoy the process as much as I can. After all, what can be so bad? I'm going to spend the rest of my life with my best friend!
